Who Am I — Victoria Oviedo

I am naïve.
I once use to argue with a friend of mine because I thought being naïve was a good thing.
It’s a good and bad characteristic.
Honestly, I don’t know everything about myself.
This year I’m going to depend more on myself to make my decisions.
I’m going to find the woman I am meant to be.
Maybe I’m scared of finding myself,
Maybe I don’t want to face the reality that is me, but
everybody is different.
I am a Mexican American, and
I am passive-aggressive.
I am overweight, and
I might come with a low self esteem.
This is what I am.
I am also kind.
I love to help others, always putting others before me.
I am not ready to be in a romantic relationship.
I am too naïve, and I don’t need somebody pushing me around.
For now, I am going to stick to myself.
